Installing a 293 or 294 Series Phone
1.
Loosen the 4 tamper-resistant screws from the front panel assembly using the GAI-Tronics Model
233 Tamper-Resistant Screwdriver (sold separately).
NOTE
The front cover is not equipped with hinges. Take care when removing the cover
to avoid dropping it.
2.
Disconnect the front panel from the enclosure.
3.
Remove the 4 clear spacer-rods from the corners of the enclosure and discard.

Four 0.28-inch holes have been provided in the enclosure for mounting. See Figure 1 for details.
Position the enclosure on the mounting surface, and secure it with four ¼-inch diameter bolts of the
appropriate length for the type of mounting surface. When using the GAI-Tronics Model 231 Pole
Mounting Kit, follow the instructions provided in the kit.
