Three-phase energy meter field calibrator
Note: you can also check separately the active or reactive power; when you separately check
the active power, you can input any value to the reactive power parameter. When you
separately check the reactive power, you can input any value to the active power
parameter.
3.3 Measure the comprehensive error of energy meter
Example: the rated current of a low-voltage three-phase four-wire transmission line is 500A,
and its measuring device consists of 500/5 TA, and 3 × 220V/5A watt-hour meter with a meter
constant of 600r/kW.h; now, the comprehensive error of the whole measuring device needs to be
measured.
Operating method:
1. Using 500A clip-on ammeter as the current input, clamp the clip-on ammeter onto the
primary current line of TA (note the current direction)
2. Open the instrument, press

to set meter parameters, and the constant: is 600;
3. Set the number of turns to 2, and select the active and photoelectric calibration method;
4. The input is set to 500A clip-on ammeter, and the transformation ratio value is set to 500/5
