Power and ground cable labels (including power switch labels) are correctly filled in and
consistently attached. If possible, attach the labels 20 mm (0.79 in.) away from the cable
connectors.
The power and ground cables are 30 mm (1.18 in.) away from the signal cable outside
the cabinet.
3.1.2 Powering On the Device
Do not install both AC and DC power modules in the VP9660.
Before power-on, locate the position of the power supply switch so that you can quickly
disconnect the power supply if an accident occurs.
Before power-on, verify the installation of the VP9660. If the installation is incorrect, do
not power on the VP9660 to prevent injuries and device damage.
The VP9660 is shipped with four DC or AC power modules. If DC power modules are
provided, the VP9660 requires two power modules to be fully powered. The other two power
modules serve as backups. If you install three or four power modules, replacing any of them
will not affect the ongoing service.
If AC power modules are provided, power module backup is available only when the input
voltage is higher than 176 V.
When the input voltage is higher than 176 V, install at least two power modules to fully
power the VP9660. If you install three or four power modules, replacing any of them
will not affect the ongoing service.
When the input voltage is equal to or lower than 176 V, install four power modules to
fully power the VP9660.
Procedure
