8.7 Managing CDRs
The MCU records all the conferences held using the local equipment and saves the
information about the conferences in Call Detail Record (CDR) format.
8.7.1 Overview of the CDR
The MCU records the original CDRs and saves the CDRs in CDR format.
The CDRs can be exported to a third-party billing system for billing or used as backups. The
MCU saves or deletes the CDRs automatically every morning at 00:00:00. The policy for
saving or deleting the CDRs is as follows:
If a CDR was recorded more than 14 days ago, the MCU deletes the CDR.
If a CDR was recorded 8 to 14 days ago, the MCU saves the CDR to an FTP server.
If the MCU fails to connect to the FTP server, the MCU deletes the CDR.
Confenerce CDR
A conference CDR records the information about every conference held on the MCU. The
operations recorded in the CDR are classified into the following nine types:
