Parameter Description
Setting
the backup network port of the
GE0 port. When switchovers are
performed between the GE0 and
GE1 ports during an ongoing
conference, erratic display
occurs. The GE1 port works in
backup mode by default.
Dynamic switching
: used for
equipment tests.
Video firewall mode
: The video
firewall mode is a simple method
used for traversal between
private and public networks.
Different MCU network ports are
connected to different networks
so that endpoints on different
networks can attend the same
conference.

Assign IP addresses that are in a different network segment from GE0 port IP addresses to the
GE1 ports of the main control board.

Set the GE1 port parameters for the main control board.

8.4 Configuring Static NAT
Enable static NAT from the MCU. If a GK is deployed on a private network, you must also
enable the NAT function from the GK.
Procedure
Step 1
Configure the GK.
1.
Start the SwitchManager from the server where the SwitchManager is installed.
2.
From the menu bar in the left section of the displayed window, click
GK Management
.
3.
From the GK list in the right section of the window, double-click the GK to be
configured to display the
GK Properties
dialog box, as shown in
