Performing Conference Control
Operations
After you join a multipoint conference, the functions of viewing sites, requesting chair control
rights, and enabling captions are available. To use more conference control functions, you
must become the chair site first. On the touch panel home screen, site entries in the site list are
sorted in alphabetical order by site name.
8.1 Viewing a Site
Context
If no site in the conference is being broadcast or having the floor and voice activation is
disabled, participating sites can view any sites they wish on their HD displays. The chair site
can view desired sites at any time during the conference.

If you have selected
Continuous presence
when setting the conference parameters, you can view
videos in continuous presence mode on the center HD display.
You cannot view audio-only sites.

8.2 Requesting the Floor
Context
If the conference has a chair site, non-chair sites must request the floor from the chair to speak
at the conference. Once a site has the floor, other sites at the conference can view and listen to
that site.
