2 Using the Telepresence System Manager

2.1.5 Logging Out from the Telepresence System Manager
To ensure the security of the Telepresence System Manager, log out from the system after you
complete your operations.
Click
or
Exit
in the upper right corner to exit the Telepresence System Manager.
2.2 Configuring and Controlling Devices
Using the Telepresence System Manager, you can configure and control devices in the
telepresence system.

2.2.1 Setting the Product Model
Context
You can set which product model is controlled by the Telepresence System Manager.
Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the Telepresence System Manager as the super administrator.
Step 2
Click
Device Control
to display the device topology.
Step 3
Right-click
Telepresence Host
and choose
Set Model
from the shortcut menu.
Step 4
Select the product model to be controlled by the Telepresence System Manager.
Step 5
Click
Save
.
A dialog box is displayed to prompt you to restart the telepresence host.
Step 6
Click
Save
.

2.2.2 Configuring the NMS
Context
You can specify an alarm account for the network management system (NMS). When your
telepresence system reports its alarms to the NMS, the NMS authenticates it based on this
alarm account.
Procedure
Step 1
Click
Device Control
to display the device topology.
Step 2
Right-click
Telepresence Host
and choose
Configure NMS
from the shortcut menu.
