6.6 Scheduling a Conference
On your TE30, you can schedule a specific time to hold a conference.
Prerequisites
l
The TE30 has registered with a GK, and the Huawei GK parameter has been selected. For
details, see 3.2 Setting H.323 Parameters .
l The TE30 is not in use during a conference.
Background
You can schedule only H.323 conferences on the TE30.
Procedure
Step 1
Choose Advanced Settings > Conference Schedules > Conference .
Step 2
Schedule a conference using either of the following methods:
l Select a conference from Conference , set Start time and Conference duration (ranging
from 30 minutes to 360 minutes), and select Schedule .
l
Select Create . Set the site and conference parameters, set Start time and Conference
duration , and select Schedule .

When the conference is scheduled, you can view its information or delete it on the Schedule
screen.
6.7 Joining an Authentication Conference
If you do not know how many sites are expected to join the conference, set the number of
anonymous sites and hold an authentication conference. A site can join the authentication
conference by calling the specified conference access number.
