The configured service port data is
inconsistent with the data plan.
The configured service port data,
such as the uplink VLAN ID, is
incorrect.
The uplink port does not forward
service streams to the upper-layer
device.
The uplink port has not been added
to the uplink VLAN.
A MAC address flapping occurs.
A user or BRAS MAC address may
flap because of attacks or a loop on
the network.
The security configuration is
incorrect.

The static IP binding function is
enabled.

The MAC address filtering table
is incorrectly configured and the
affected user is configured in the
table.
Link between the
MA5612 and
DHCP server
The MA5612 cannot ping the
DHCP server.

The DHCP configuration on the
MA5612 is inconsistent with that
on the DHCP server.

The link between the MA5612
and the DHCP server is faulty.
DHCP server
The MA5612 can obtain an IP
address when the DHCP server is
replaced.

The IP address resources of the
DHCP server are exhausted.

The DHCP server is faulty.
Upper-layer
device
The configuration of the upper-
layer router is incorrect.
The maximum transmission unit
(MTU) or the quality of service
(QoS) value configured on the upper
layer router is incorrect.
The BRAS configuration is
incorrect.
The user's account is restricted on
the BRAS.
