Networking Requirements
, the priority of Switch A is 100, which is the highest priority on the
network; therefore, Switch A is elected as the DR. Switch C, which has the second highest
priority, is elected as the BDR. The priority of Switch B is 0, which means that it cannot become
the DR. Switch D is not configured with a priority, that is, Switch D uses the default priority,
namely, 1.
