You can correctly install the rpm package as prompted by the system.
Step 4
Enter the command
chkconfig iscsi on
to start iSCSI services.
Step 5
Enter the command
vi /etc/initiatorname.iscsi
. Edit the file
initiatorname.iscsi
to name the
initiator of the iSCSI port. The following information is displayed:
## DO NOT EDIT OR REMOVE THIS FILE!
## If you remove this file, the iSCSI daemon will not start.
## If you change the InitiatorName, existing access control lists
## may reject this initiator. The InitiatorName must be unique
## for each iSCSI initiator. Do NOT duplicate iSCSI InitiatorNames.

The initiator name contains numbers, letters, full stops, hyphens, and colons. The first character cannot
be a hyphen. Do not use invalid characters to name the initiator node. Otherwise, the AS fails to connect
storage devices.

For multiple ASs connected to a controller, the initiators must be named differently.
Step 6
Press
ESC
to exit from the file editing mode.
Step 7
Enter the command
:wq
to save the settings and exit from the file editing interface.
Step 8
Enter the command
vi /etc/iscsi.conf
, add the iSCSI IP address (that is, the destination IP) set
at the controller subrack side. The following information is displayed:
