Create Host Group
Step 3
Set the relevant parameters for the host group.

Parameter
Description
Host Group Name
This parameter indicates the name of the host group. When setting
this parameter, note that:
l
The name contains only letters, numbers, underscores (_), and
hyphens (-), and the first character cannot be a hyphen.
l
The name contains 1 to 32 characters.
OS
This parameter indicates the OS type of the hosts in the host group.
A host can install "Windows 2003", "Solaris", "HP UX", "AIX" and
"Linux".
Step 4
Click

dialog box is displayed.

. The system displays "
Operation succeeds
".

3.5 Adding a Host
The host displayed on the OSM3.0 interface is virtually created for easier management. It cannot
be mapped to a physical AS unless a port has been added to this virtual host.
Prerequisite
NOTE
The system supports a maximum of 256 hosts.
