When you set the rate of an FC host port through the OSM3.0, ensure that the rate of the FC
host port is the same as that of the FC HBA port. Otherwise, the communication may fail. In
addition, to ensure the optimal port performance, you are recommended to set the rate to the
maximum value that both parties support.
Procedure
Step 1
On the OSM3.0 main interface, click
Device
. Expand the
Controller Subrack 00
node in the
Device
navigation tree and then choose
FC Host Port
. The
FC Host Port
page is displayed,
as shown in
Figure 3-16
.

Step 2
Select an FC host port (for example, host port 00 on controller A). Click
Modify Rate
. The
Modify Rate
page is displayed, as shown in
