1.1 Overview of the Initial Configuration

The initial configuration of the storage system is the basis for services. This document describes
the process of the initial configuration of the S5600.

The initial configuration of the S5600 consists of the following operations:

Planning the networking

Installing and checking the hardware

Configuring the NICs or FC HBA for the ASs

Setting up the management environment

Setting the IP address of the management network port on the controller

Logging in to the OSM3.0

Configuring the storage system

Setting additional information

NOTE
