To import contacts from the SIM card
You can add contacts saved on your SIM card to your phone’s contacts list.
Press HOME, then touch
Contacts
.
Your contacts list appears.
Press MENU, then touch
Settings > SIM
contacts importer
. Wait for the SIM card
contacts to load.
Do one of the following:
To import a contact, touch the contact
you want to import. This opens the Edit
contact screen where you can edit the
contact details before saving.
To import all contacts, press MENU, then
touch
Import all
.

To add a contact from the Call log tab
Use the
Call log
tab to create a new contact from dialed, received, or missed call
numbers. You can also add these call log numbers to any of your existing contacts.
On the Phone screen, press MENU and then touch the Call log .
Touch and hold the phone number you want to add to your contacts, then
touch Add to contacts .
Do one of the following:
If you want to create a new contact from the number, touch
Create a new
contact , edit the contact information, then touch Save .
If you want to add the number to an existing contact, select the contact in
the list to add the number to their contact details, then touch
Save
.
Tip
To call a phone number in a message thread, touch and hold the message and then
touch Call [number] in the options menu.
