To customize contact information
While creating a new or editing an existing contact, you can add a caller ID icon or
assign a ring tone to the contact.
Note Before assigning a caller ID icon to a contact, make sure that the contact’s picture is
stored in the installed microSD card.
1.
In the New contact or Edit contact screen, touch the
Add icon
button.
The Pictures application opens and displays your albums.
2. Navigate to the contact’s picture using the TRACKBALL, then touch the
picture.

When the cropper tool appears. Do one of the following:
To adjust the cropper size, touch and hold the cropper edge. When the
cropper arrows appear, drag your finger inward to or outward from the
center of the cropper to resize it.
To move the cropper to another area on the picture, touch and hold inside
the cropper, then drag it with your finger to the desired position.

Touch
Save
. The picture is associated with your contact.
Note
The caller ID icon will appear on the screen when you receive a call from the
contact. If you don’t add a caller ID icon, a default placeholder icon will be used.
5.
Touch the
Ringtone
field, then select a ring tone from the list. The ring tone
briefly plays when selected.
6.
If you want to assign the ring tone to the contact, touch
OK
.
View, organize and search contacts
To browse the contacts list
You can easily browse through your contacts list by using finger gestures.
To move down the contacts list slowly, drag your finger upward. To move up
the contacts list, drag your finger downward.
