Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
5.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
6.
Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack

•
Remove the server from the rack
8.
Remove the front I/O module for the eight-bay SFF drive model:
a.
Disconnect the front I/O and ambient thermal sensor cable from the system board and ambient
thermal sensor.
b.
Disconnect the iLO service port cable from the system board.
c.
Disconnect the USB 3.0 cable from the system board.
d.
Remove the front I/O module.
NOTE:
If replacing the front I/O module and ambient thermal sensor cable, first remove both the
iLO Service Port cable and the USB 3.0 cable.
e.
Remove the iLO Service Port cable.
