To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Removing and replacing an NVMe drive

An NVMe SSD is a PCIe BUS device. Devices attached to a PCIe bus cannot be removed without
allowing the device and the bus to complete and cease signal/traffic flow.

Procedure

Back up all server data on the drive.

2. Determine the status of the drive from the drive LED definitions

Remove the drive.

Push the Power button.
