To replace a plug-in accessory module
1.
Important
: If you are removing or inserting a CD-ROM drive or Zip drive, shut
down the OmniBook before removing or inserting the plug-in module.(From the
Start menu, shut down Windows 95.) This is not necessary if you are removing
and installing the floppy disk drive or secondary battery.
2. Slide the safety latch for the plug-in slot into its recess.
3. Slide
and hold
the release latch, then pull out the module, as shown.
4. Insert the new plug-in module.
5. Close the safety latch.
C A U T I O N
If inserting another plug-in module, be sure the safety latch is open. Otherwise
you could damage the module or your OmniBook.
