Removing a Blank Panel
Follow these steps to remove a blank panel:
Step1
Position the router so that the rear panel of the router faces you.
Step2
Select the slot where you will install a HIM or MIM.
In the case that you need to install a HIM, remove both the upper and lower blank panels in
Slot 1 or Slot 2.
In the case that you need to install a MIM, remove the lower blank panel in Slot 1 or Slot 2.
Step3
Remove the fastening screws on the blank panel with a Philips screwdriver.

Place the removed blank panel(s) and screws in a safe place for later use.
Installing a Blank Panel
After a HIM or MIM is removed from the router, you are r
