8. If you install a video accessory board that uses the main video adapter, connect the
accessory board to the VESA pass-through connector on the PC's video adapter. (Refer
to the accessory board's manual, and to the section “VESA Pass-through Connector.”)
9. Install any other accessories before replacing the cover. Run SETUP and then the
ISA
Configuration Utility
in the
Plug and Play
group, in Windows. Make sure the
information corresponds with the board you have installed.
Video Adapter
Integrated Video Adapter on the System Board
If your PC has an integrated Ultra VGA PCI video controller on the system board, it has 2
MB of video memory and can display high resolutions at high refresh rates. It can display:
•
16.7 million colors at 800 x 600 pixels
•
64 thousand colors at 1024 x 768 pixels
•
256 colors at 1280 x 1024 pixels.

To configure the integrated Ultra VGA PCI controller, use the
HP User Tools
utilities in the
HPutils
Group in Windows. Refer chapter 1 of the
Getting Started
manual for more
information. You can select the integrated video adapter's refresh rates in SETUP. (Refer to
Configuring the Integrated Video
in “Configuring Your PC”.)
