To install a hard disk drive in the bottom shelf:
1. Remove the PC's cover, as described earlier in this chapter.
2. Unscrew and remove the filler panel from the bottom shelf.
3. Unscrew and remove the retainer plate that secures the mass storage bridge to the PC.
Put the screw to one side.
4. Firmly insert the drive into the bottom shelf until you feel resistance.
5. Firmly insert the retainer plate under the disk drive tray, to secure the drive. Replace the
screw.
6. Replace the filler panel using the screws you removed.
7. Unscrew the captive screw on the hard disk drive in the rear shelf. Rotate the drive out
of the way for better access to the cables.
