Release the ZIF connector (8) to which the touchpad cable is connected, and then disconnect the touchpad 

cable from the system board.

9.

Remove the nine Phillips M2.0 × 3.4 screws (1) that secure the system board to the computer.

10.

Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 4.1 screw (2) that secures the system board to the computer.

11.

Release the solid-state drive housing (1) from molding that is built into the top cover/keyboard.

12.

Lift the left side of the system board (2) until it rests at an angle.

13.

Release the heat sink (3) from the rear edge of the top cover/keyboard.

14.

Release the audio jack (4) from the opening in the top cover/keyboard.
