Emptying residues
The lid for removing residues, the air connection
for pressure tank and metering unit are located
on the undersides of the solids hoppers.
To empty residues use a suitable container and
open the lid.
Small quantities can be emptied through the
fall sluice.

Open the fall sluice and switch on the metering
motor via the calibration switch.

Clean the pipes from residues to avoid mis-
takes during the next calibration.

Larger seed and fertiliser quantities can also be
empty with the help of the filling auger.

For this purpose swing the filling chute under
the fall sluice. Observe the chapter

Fall sluice
In the fall sluice the seed is injected into the
air flow. A cover on the underside serves the
purpose of removing the calibration quantity.

The cover must be tightly closed during sowing.
Calibration
For calibration open the covering under the fall
sluice and hook in the calibration bag.
If necessary clean the pipes, to make sure that
the calibration will not be adversely affected by
residues.
Pay attention to the operating instructions for
the E-Manager.
When removing the calibration sample check
the pipes for seed residues and empty them
completely.
After calibration reattach the covering, make
sure it is tightly sealed.
