If the coulter discs are worn, slightly turn the
fertiliser pipes (A) upward to prevent them
from being abraded.

To do so, loosen the two screws (B) and
fasten the pipe (A) again at a higher position.

Set the fertiliser pipes identically on all discs.
Sowing without fertiliser
If no fertiliser is to be placed, the placing quan
-
tity can be set to 0 kg/ha on the terminal of the
E-Manager or the metering unit can be switched
off.
In raised position the seed coulter can be shut
off with a cock.

NOTE

Adjust the fertiliser discs to prevent them
from touching the ground during drilling. They
would be abraded and then wear one-sided.

Adjust the fertiliser coulter, when needed, and
also when not used that the coulter discs turn
in the soil.
Maintenance

Bearings are oil-filled and therefore mainte
-
nance free.
¾
Check the discs regularly for clearance, leak
tightness, wear and free rotation.
¾
Check the condition of the rubber mounting
and replace if the rubbers lose their tension.
¾
