Filling auger

DANGER

Danger of severe injury caused by the rotating

auger.

Never reach into the rotating auger!

Always allow only one person to handle it.

WARNING

the unfolded auger.

Fold and secure the auger before road travel

and during field work.

The hydraulic filling auger consists of a fixed

and a moveable auger half. It is powered by a

separate tractor control unit.

For twin hopper machines, only the rear hopper

can be filled with the auger.

2. Open the covering lid on the connecting

flange (A, B).

3. Pull out the cotter pin (D).
4. Loosen the tommy screw (C), hold the swiv-

elling part (E) in position.

5. Swing the tommy screw up.
6. Swing the swivelling part all the way down

and lock with the turnbuckle (B).
