8. Insert the wheel chocks into the brackets
provided and secure them.
9. Release the parking brake (option).
10.Check before starting to drive whether the
machine has been properly connected and
secured.
Transport position
WARNING
Danger of road accidents caused by losing the
machine or machine parts.

Check all interlocks before starting to drive.
¾
Check whether all securing elements of the
connection are in place and set correctly.
¾
Check components of the connection for
wear.
¾
Lock the control units mechanically or elec-
trically, depending on the version, during
transport travel. Never switch them to the
floating position.
¾
In regard to the ball and socket coupling follow
the notes in the Maintenance overview chapter.
NOTE
¾
Make sure before driving on public roads that
the machine meets all respective applicable
road traffic regulations.
Make the following additional adjustments be-
fore road transport:
1. Lift the machine.
2. Fully retract the coulter rails.
3. Fold the machine in completely, see section
Folding .
4. Check to make sure the safety catch has
engaged.

5. Switch off the E-Manager.
6. Fill the hydraulic cylinder on the undercar-
riage with aluminium clips and lower the ma-
chine onto these clips. This acts as transport
lock for road travel.
Insert enough clips to achieve adequate
ground clearance. Pay attention at the same
time that the maximum permissible transport
height is not exceeded.
7. Connection with drawbar eye or ball head:
- Fill up the piston rod of the hydraulic cyl-
inder on the drawbar with aluminium clips.
- Set the shut-off valve on the drawbar to

1 Work in the field:
- Open the shut-off valve.
- Switch the control unit to floating position.
2 Road transport and parking position:
- Close the lock valve.
