Micro-granulate facility
For machines with single hopper, granulate (e.g.
fertiliser) or fine grains can be placed in addition
with the micro-granular compound device.
The maximum possible placing quantity is 30 kg/
ha at 10 km/h working speed.
NOTE
The granulate must be of a granular composi-
tion.
The metering unit is not suitable for sand or
dust-like substances.
The micro-granulate hopper has a capacity of
200 litres with the Pronto 3 & 4 DC and 250 litres
with the Pronto 6 DC. It is located inside the
seed hopper.

The hopper must be absolutely leaktight during
use.
¾
Check the hopper cover for leak tightness
with the fan running each time after it had
been opened.
Micro-granular compound is transported to the
metering auger. The required quantity is trans
-
ported via the auger and fed to the fan air flow.

CAUTION
Risk of injury on the rotating auger.
¾
Switch off the micro-granulate facility before
working on the metering auger.
Depending on the granulate quantity, the meter
-
ing unit can be fitted with two different augers.
The theoretical delivery rate of the augers is
38 cm³ or 66 cm³ per revolution.
The actual displacement depends on various
factors and can therefore only be determined
by calibration.
NOTE
¾
For fine seeds use only the chamfered me
-
tering augers. For reasons of differentiation
these metering augers are marked
R
in front
of the size.
