Placing quantity
With the section lid in place the placing quantity
in the terminal must be halved.
The seed quantity can be reduced to 50%.

To do so, press the -% softkey on the main
screen in the E-Manager terminal or reduce
the placing quantity on the working screen
under the Seed quantity kg/ha item by half.
In both cases the drilled area is counted over
the entire machine width.
If the area actually drilled is required, the
working width must be halved in the machine
configuration. The seed quantity must in this
case not be manually changed.
Tram line with half-width shut-off
If a tram line is required with section shut down
enabled, the installation position of the valves
must be considered.

If necessary, reposition the hoses or adjust
the automatic tram line system.
Half-width shut-off - two distributor tow -
ers
Electric half-width shut-off is available for the
Pronto 6 DC with two distributor towers.
An electric motor adjusts the valve in the fall
sluice.

Calibrate the positioning motor ( teach ).
Follow the operating instructions of the
E-Manager, Teach positioning motor section.

Enable the desired half-width on the terminal
by pressing the appropriate softkey. The
valve is adjusted, the display on the terminal
flashes.
NOTE
Check the correct function of the half-width
shut-off in the field.

To do so, check the air flow at the coulters
while the fan is running.
After selecting the half-width shut-off
in the machine configuration the two
symbols for left and right-hand half-
width shut-off appear on the second
work page.
If the half-width is enabled:
•
the placing quantity is halved,
•
the working width is halved automatically so
that the counter for the cultivated area adopts
the correct value,
•
the disabled half-width is hidden as soon
as the valve is in the right or left switching
position,
•
seed flow monitoring for the enabled half-
width is automatically disabled.
