Brake drum (packer shaft dismantled)

Check the brake linings for wear each time
you dismantle the packer shafts.

Never park the machine without securing it
when the wheel(s) is/are dismantled!
12. Loosen and remove the screws (A) on the
packer bearing.
13. Loosen and remove the screws (B) on the
flange plate.

Remove the flange plate.
15. Pull out the packer rollers with the lifting
equipment:
16. Replace the damaged tyre. Remove other
wheels as necessary.
17.Fasten all wheels again. Pay attention to
the correct tightening torque and follow the
order shown:

18.Push the packer roller back in.
19.Fasten the nuts on the brake drum.
20.
Push the packer shafts into the bearing;
fasten the packer bearing and flange plate
again.
21.Fasten the scrapers again.
22. Remove the tripod trestle and lower the
machine.
23.
Tighten the wheel nuts with the torque
wrench.
NOTE
¾
Retighten the wheel nuts after 10 km.
