For adopting changes and entering values only the respective buttons in
the WebGUI can be used.
6.2.4 Plausibility Check during Input
A plausibility check is generally carried out during input.
As it can be seen in the above image, an invalid value (e.g. text where a number should be
entered, IP address instead of a range etc.) is identified by a red border when an attempt is
made to accept these settings. It should be noted here that this is only a semantic check and
not to test whether an entered IP address can be used on the network or in the configuration!
If an error message is displayed it is not possible to save the
configuration in the Board’s flash
memory.
The error check only verifies semantics and the validity of ranges. It is
NOT
a logic or network check
for entered data.
