
3. Basic Setup for Camera
•
Image storage compression method/Rate
Specify the format (JPEG, MPEG) of image to store, and adjust the compression rate. (The smaller
the settings for storage compression rate is, the smaller the size of image will become. In addition,
the poorer the image quality will become.)
•
Image transmission compression method/Rate
Specify the format (JPEG, MPEG) of image to transmit on the HNDR-Net system, and adjust the
compression rate. (The smaller is the setting for transmission compression rate, the smaller will be
the size of image, but the image quality is also lowered.)
•
The compression method is set to be MPEG format by default. To enhance the quality of images
recorded, set the compression format to JPEG.

Camera use: Check to enable the camera. ( Keep in mind that HNDR reboots the system when

Audible warning on event : Check to select an alarm by cameral channel when an alarm occurs.
When events come out by detecting motion or sensor, it goes off the beep sound.
•
When a video loss happen, relay output : 1~4 port relay output available. ( Only remove from relay
output on manually available. )
•
Pre: Saves as many images as specified from the previous image when motion or sensor occurs.
•
Post: Saves as many images as specified after motion or sensor occurred.

Name: Enter where the camera is located. (
Use 8 characters or less.
)
•
Select the resolution of images.(In HNDR-48(24)24, the resolution is fixed at 320*240 mode.)
•
The higher the resolution, the better the image quality becomes, but the size of image is increased.
•
Hide camera (Display): check to hide camera images from PC monitor.
•
Remove from CCTV display: Does not send Composite-Out signal to external monitors.
•
Remove from network display: check to hide camera images from Network.

•
Maximum averaged frame rate (Auto): Select to save images with the best frame on the Board.
•
Select frame rate by camera: Specify the number of frames to store per second.

•
If click this, Every of settings in

becomes same as for all of camera.
•
This button is effective when all of settings for all camera shall be same as setting in No. X
