A well-maintained motorcycle is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free
riding. It will also help reduce air pollution.
If your motorcycle overturns or becomes involved in a crash, be sure your
dealer inspects all major parts, even if you are able to make some repairs.
These instructions are based on the assumption that the motorcycle will be
used exclusively for its designed purpose. Sustained high speed operation or
operation in unusually wet or dusty conditions will require more frequent
service than specified in the Maintenance Schedule. Consult your dealer for
recommendations applicable to your individual needs and use.
To help you properly care for your motorcycle, the following pages include a
Maintenance Schedule and a Maintenance Record for regularly scheduled
maintenance.
