Cold Start
Users are recommended to perform Cold Start when they travel for a
long distance within a short period of time, say flying from Asia to
Europe, for the GPS receiver may have problem to receive information
about the current time, the orbits of the satellites or its own current
position with previous GPS acquired. The searching time will be long for
it proceeds to listen for satellites at random until it has acquired one or
more. Cold Start will initialize the positioning of GPS and etc.
