Figure 36 shows the programming of
the
AGC
button when in SSB mode
(either USB or LSB). The default
programming of this button causes
the IQ32 to step to the next possible
AGC setting when the
AGC
button is
touched.
Recall from earlier discussion (on the
Settings menu) that there are four
possible AGC settings: CW AGC
(mode 0), Digi AGC (mode 1), SSB
AGC (mode 2), or AGC Off (mode 3).
You may quickly step through these 4
modes on the SSB

OME
S
CREEN
by
touching the on-screen
AGC
button.
Note that the on-screen
AGC
button
is programmed by invoking a macro called
<NxAGC>
(which means “next AGC mode”. Refer
to the Appendix for a list of all the available macros.
Figure 37 shows the default pro-
gramming of the
WF/Sp
button.
