furthermore its drop in boiler direction should be minimum 10º, while optimum drop is 30º ÷ 45º.
Thermal insulation with thickness at less 25 mm is recommended to be applied along the whole
length of the chimney connection. Prior to operation it is very important to dry and heat the new
chimney.
While the boiler is working chimney draft in any circumstances mustn’t exceed 10 Pa!
In order to provide proper chimney draft, the smoke conduit must be equipped with a flap to
regulate draft. The chimney liner itself should be equipped with a chimney draft regulator, located
beneath a connection of the smoke conduit and the chimney liner.

The chimney where connection follows shall meet all standards – especially EN 13384-1,
requirements and good engineering practice. If required inspection of the chimney shall
follow by the competent officer!
