7.2 Primary and secondary air intakes.
The Smart Fire boiler is equipped with individual air intakes for primary and secondary air, airs
which are used during burning process. Each intake is equipped in a throttle, which allows to
change a cross-section of intake and by that to change amount of sucked primary and secondary air.
By default both throttles should be fully opened, but in some cases it is possible to change primary /
secondary air ratio. Adaptation of throttle's settings must be done on the basics:
•
Visual observation of the flame, by using the service door for the burner chamber, in which
serviceman are equipped.
•
Indication of exhaust gas analyser, by interpretation of the exhaust gas parameters.
If necessary air intakes throttles can be closed down to limit excess air. It isn't recommended to
close throttles more than show at fig. 8.
