Inspection/Maintenance Access Side Cover

CAUTION:



Always close side cover (1) during driving and

operation.



Do not keep side cover (1) open on a slope or when

a strong wind is blowing. Failure to do so may be
dangerous because side cover (1) may unexpectedly
close.



Take care not to pinch your fingers when opening/

closing the side covers (1).



When side cover (1) is opened, the cover may move

suddenly. Be careful not to come in contact with the
cover.



Before inspecting around the engine, be sure to

secure side cover (1) with holding rod (4).



In case the machine is equipped with the fenders (2)

on side covers (1), never ride on the fenders (2).

When opening side cover (1), pull latch (3).

NOTE: When required to inspect the machine for a long time

with side cover (1) kept open, lock side cover (1) using holding
rod (4) provided inside side cover (1).

Side cover (1) has a holding groove. Engage the holding rod
(4) in the holding groove beforehand.
