Before removing any part of the refrigerator, remove all items stored in or on the relevant part.

Do not remove any refrigerator parts other than those listed in this section.
To remove or clean parts not listed in this section, contact a customer service center.

Do not remove or wash the platinum catalysts in the vacuum compartment and vegetable compartment.
HOW TO REMOVE/ATTACH PARTS
Caution
The glass shelves are heavy. Take care when inserting and removing
them. If you drop a shelf, it might crack or shatter, causing injury.
Notice
Height adjustable upper and middle shelf
Slightly lift the back of
the shelf and then pull
the shelf forward.
Continue to pull the
shelf forward as
shown in the fi gure
below.
Rotate the shelf to
remove it.
After installing the compartment, open and close the compartment a
few times to make sure it has been installed correctly.

Vacuum Compartment
Pull out the vacuum compartment. Then, lift the
front of the compartment and continue pulling
the compartment out in
an upward direction.
Align both the left and right protruding
tabs of the vacuum compartment with
the guide rails of the receptacle, and
then insert the compartment. When the
compartment is all the way in, press the
handle down to lock the compartment.

Slightly lift the back of the shelf
and then pull the shelf forward.
Draw the shelf, and pull off
the 2 pins on the

Hold the back of the
partition and then
rotate the partition
forward.
Remove the partition
by pulling it toward
the back of the
refrigerator.
Remove the middle shelf before removing the upper shelf.

Door shelves
Lift each door shelves to remove it. Each shelf is very securely attached, so you
might need to lightly tap the bottom-left and right sides of the shelf to dislodge it.
Caution
When reattaching each shelf, make sure to attach it securely.
If a shelf is not securely attached, it might fall off, causing injury.
