Router Port Fowarding Sample (Linksys)
Port Forwarding Linksys BEFSR11
Step 1:
To setup port forwarding on this router you computer needs to have a static IP address. Take a
look at our
Static IP Address guide for your router.
Step 2:
Log in to the Router's Web-based Utility. (This is usually
done by opening your web browser, entering 192.168.1.1
in the Address field, and pressing the Enter key.) You
should see the following screen.
Step 3:
By default the username is blank, so just leave the
Username box empty. Go ahead and enter the password
in the password box. The password is admin by default.
Click the Okay button at the bottom of this screen. This
will take you to something like the following
menu.
Step 4:
In the upper right of this menu you will see
an orange Advanced button. Clicking this
button will cause the menu options at the
top of your screen to change. Go ahead
and click it now.
