2.6 Continuity Check

DANGER
Never apply voltage to the test leads when the
Continuity check mode is selected. Doing so may
damage the instrument and result in personal
injury.
To avoid electrical accidents, remove power from
the circuit before measuring.
CAUTION
For safety reasons, when taking measurements, only
use the L9207-10 Test Lead provided with the
instrument.
2.6 Continuity Check
1. Press

button to display
. Auto-ranging is
used for continuity checking.
2. Insert the red test lead to
V/
Ω
and the black test lead
to
COM
of the voltage/resistance input terminal.
3. Attach or remove the rigid insulating sleeve as
required by the measurement object.
4. Touch the tips of the red and black test leads
together and verify that 0
Ω
is displayed.
