Re-install the suction cover to the pump and
torque the two bolts to 4-6 ft. lbs. Start the sin
-
gle bolt by hand and torque to 13-15 ft. lbs.

Carefully re-install the new filter onto the suction
tube. Visually check that the inlet pick up tube
and suction screen face down towards the bot-
tom of the reservoir.
Re-install return line. Tighten return line fitting
until return line can no longer turn. Ensure return
line is positioned correctly. See photo 9007. Re-
install new return line filter.
Clean the inside of the reservoir with a suitable
solvent. Clean the magnet and attach it to the
bottom of the pump.

Inspect the reservoir O-ring for damage, replace
if necessary (P/N 25010236).
Re-install the reservoir while the unit is in a verti-
cal position with the motor down.
Tap gently on the top of the reservoir with the
breather on top, (same side as the valve block).
Re-install the four reservoir screws with a 1/4”
wrench and torque to 15-25 in. lbs.
