2. Hold the new castor (oriented as it will be installed) and use a 11 mm hex
key (or a short piece of 11 mm hex bar) and put the brake pedal in the brake
position (see figure 4-18 on page 4-16).

3. Check the brake function of the castor by rotating the castor wheel. Use the
hex key to shift the mechanism back to the neutral position. If the castor
did not brake, proceed to step 12, otherwise proceed to step 14.
4. Put the castor in the neutral position.
5. Hold the castor and maintain the orientation and use the hex key to rotate
the castor stem 180 degrees (see figure 4-19 on page 4-16).

6. Repeat steps 10 and 11.
7. Install the new castor in the base.
8. Install, but do not tighten the two mount bolts.
