WARNING:
Remove the possibility of entrapment. Make sure that no part of the
patient’s body (head, limb, etc.) is beyond the perimeter of the bed
frame or is in the siderail mechanism. Failure to operate the bed safely
may cause injury or equipment damage.
CAUTION:
The siderail is only to be used in the fully raised position. Failure to
operate the bed correctly can cause injury or equipment damage.
Bed Service
WARNING:
Only facility-authorized persons should service the bed. Service by
unauthorized persons could cause injury or equipment damage.
SHOCK HAZARD:
Failure to disconnect the unit from its power source could cause injury
or equipment damage.
WARNING:
To remove the actuator, brace the mattress frame using approved bed
jack or bed support stands. The jack or stands must hold the entire
weight of the mattress frame. Failure to brace the bed correctly can
cause injury.
WARNING:
If the backrest is in the up position, it must be braced before the
actuator bolt is removed. Failure to brace the bed correctly can cause
injury.
WARNING:
The CPR function must be inspected/adjusted before the bed can be
placed in service. Failure to inspect/adjust the mechanism can cause
injury.
