8.1 I/O Electrical Feature
8.1.1 Line 0/Line 3 Input Circuit
The camera has 2 input pins, including Line 0 and Line 3. The input signal cable connects the
camera via 12-pin power and I/O cable. The RS-422 standard, RS-644 standard and LVTTL standard
is applied to this input signal.
RS-422 Standard Input
In order to make sure the normal operation of input circuit, it is required to connect camera’s
ground signal with external ground signal if Line 0 and Line 3 adopt RS-422 standard.

Inputting RS-422 or RS-644 Signal
RS-422 standard defines the connection of the bus structure, and the inputs of several cameras can
be connected to the RS-422. Up to 10 cameras can be connected at the same time, of which only
one camera is the master dispenser and other cameras are receivers. The circuit length between
the receiver and the bus should be as short as possible. The bus must have a 120 Ω terminal
resistance.
