4.2 System event log tab
This tab lists all of the printing events since the last time the log has been cleared. The event log can be
saved as an Event file (.EVTX) that can be viewed with the Windows Event Viewer. The system event log is
a good way to send information to HID Global Technical Support.
You can double-click on an event log entry to display the event properties. The event properties includes
information about the event and can include cause and resolution information.

Log
Saves the current log file or opens a saved log file. Options are:
Save As:
Opens a new window to choose the location to save the event log.
Open Saved Log:
Opens a new window to browse to the location of a saved event log.
Action
Refresh
Updates the system event log and displays the current log information.
Clear
Removes all entries in the system event log. To clear the log, you may be prompted to re-
launch the Status Monitor with administrator privileges.
