should be in the way while using the head cushion, the head rest can be pushed upwards (1.2.3.).
The head cushion should be removed, when the child has reached a height allowing the child to
place his head securely in the head rest. We recommend removing the reduction cushion only, when
the child has become too big for it, latest when the child weight is over 15 kg.

has its own belt system (D) - the harness belts - which needs to
be adjusted to your child's size as follows:
Place

on a normal chair and set your child in it. To ensure
optimum positioning of the belts, make sure that the shoulder belts (D1) run down from just above
the child's shoulders (fig.1c), not too high above them (fig.1b) and not too low (fig.1a).
Don't leave your child unattended in the seat!
1.2.2. Height and length adjustment of the shoulder belts (fig.2a-c)
Height adjustment of the shoulder belts (D1):
Release the belt ends from the belt anchorage (K) at the back of the seat (fig.2a), release the
shoulder pad connector (W), pull all belt ends out of the slots (J1 or J2 or J3). Put the belt ends
through the belt slots (J1 or J2 or J3) that are appropriate to the child's size. Finally, thread the belt
ends back into the belt anchorage (K) and shoulder pad connector (W).
To release the shoulder belts (fig.2b), push the metal belt adjuster (H), hidden by the cover, and pull
both harness belts simultaneously forward.
To shorten the shoulder belts (fig.2c), just pull the harness central belt (D3). Do not block the
shoulder belts during pulling.
Attention: It is recommended to check the belt position very regularly and to adjust it to the size of
your growing child. The belts must lie firmly against the child's body and must not be twisted.
1.2.3. Adjusting the headrest to the child's size (fig.2d)
In order to adjust the height of the head rest to your child's size push the seat down on the
vehicles seat to keep it there. With the other hand de-block the head rest de-block lever (Z) on
the back of the head rest by pulling it backwards at the same time. Keep the lever de-blocked
and pull the head rest simultaneously up or down, according to the child's size. Relase the lever.
The head rest needs to be fixed in one of the guide wholes with an audible sound. Please check
by pulling on the head rest, if it does not move anymore without pulling the lever. The middle of
the head rest needs to be exactly at the height of the middle of the child's head to have the
highest side protection effect. The headrest is adjustable in 7 different positions.
