Safety
Suprasetter A52/A75 – Installation
Safety Loop
The Suprasetter is equipped with a safety loop. If the safety loop is interrupted by opening a cover,
for example, all mechanical motions are stopped and the laser is switched off.
Fully automatic machine:
Opening the hood will interrupt the safety circuit and switch off all hazardous movements. After the
cover is closed, the machine must run through a new initialization routine.
Service Switch

The key can not be removed in the Service mode. It is therefore not possible to close the door as long
as the unit is in the service mode.
WARNING
Risk of injury if safety system bypassed
The safety system must never be bypassed because this could lead to eye and
skin injuries due to the invisible high power laser beam, bruising caused by the
optics carriage or tilting plate table or critical injuries caused by electric shocks.
The service technicians switch the Suprasetter to
the Service mode with the service switch (Fig. 5/1)
for testing and maintenance work. This switch is
located on the right-hand side of the Suprasetter
and is accessible only after opening the side door
on the unit. The key for this service switch may
only be accessed by authorized service personnel.
The laser is not active in the Service mode; all
other Suprasetter functions are enabled.
Only ONE routine cycle may run at a time when
you actuate the service switch. A continuous test
must not be carried out. A new procedure must be
started separately and manually.
WARNING
Risk of injury from improper operation
The service switch may be operated only by the service technicians.
