F. Vent Diagrams
WARNING! Risk of Fire.
This appliance requires a minimum of 24 inches of vertical venting before attaching any elbow to
the appliance.
DO NOT
attach elbow directly to the appliance.
General Rules:
• This appliance is approved for use with Hearth & Home Technologies DVP venting systems ONLY.
• When penetrating a combustible wall, a wall shield
fi
restop must be installed.
• When penetrating a combustible ceiling, a ceiling
fi
restop must be installed.
• This appliance requires a minimum of 24 inches of vertical pipe attached directly to the appliance starting collar before
attaching a 90 degree or 45 degree elbow.
• Horizontal termination cap should have a 1/4 inch downward slant to allow any moisture in cap to be released.
