Your circuit board may be screened 5.
NOTE: Before you install an electrolytic
capacitor, look at
it
and identify the leads.
One lead will have a plus (+) mark or a
minus () mark near it. Be sure to install
the positive lead in the positive-marked
hole. Be careful; only the negative lead may
be marked.

NOTE: In each of the following steps
where a transistor is installed, tine up the
flat on the transistor with the flat on the
circuit board. Then insert the transistor
leads into the corresponding E, B, and C
holes in the circuit board.
Soder the leads
to
the foil and cut off the excess lead
lengths.

4. Solder the three leads to the foil and
remove any excess lead lengths.

3. Push the leads through the circuit
board. IMPORTANT: Be sure the
twisted pair of leads go into the
center hole, The lead coming from
the bottom of the coil must go to
the hole nearest the 10 pF disc
capacitor. The lead frorn the top
must
go
to the hole nearest the
location for the 1000 pF mica
capacitor,

Push the
eyelet through the center
of the coil as shown, either side up.
Then
push the eyelet through the
circuit board. Position the leads as
shown and solder the eyelet to the
foil.
1. Refer to the drawing below and
push the

flat fiber washer onto
the eyelet. (It is a tight fit.)
